Granni

Across the miles, across the ages
I see your smiles, and read your pages

You've given a gift that I treasure
My heart is a lift, value can't measure

Your words of care in every letter
The love you share makes me feel better

With dutiful strokes of your pen
Imagination invokes it's will again

Your control is lost in what you write
You're just the host of your inner light

I open my eyes as snow flakes fall
You are so wise and stall tall

The brightness blinding though some don't see
No trouble finding how you've guided me
